I mean, if you know me, you know there is practically nothing that can make me lose sleep, but this book made me lose sleep.
Have you ever read a book that is so mind-blowingly good that you are certain it will stick with you for a long, long time? Where you want to shout about it to the whole world? Please get this book and then email me so we can talk about it because I. Can’t. Keep. It. To. Myself.
Okay, starting out, I was skeptical. I’ve voiced before how I am not a huge fan of male authors, mainly due to the fact they can’t ever really seem to nail women characters. This guy got it. I can’t find a single flaw with this book. It was emotional, powerful, mind bending. I am reeling. It opens so many possibilities that I never considered. I didn’t see any of this coming. I mean, I got the basic premise before but I was not prepared. My mind hurts!
Now that I’ve calmed down a bit from my initial reaction—I will just say that this book is the best book I’ve read in a long time, if I could rate it higher I would. The writing is spectacular, the plot is even better, and I’m just in love with this book. I really don’t want to say anything that would ruin it, but I would consider this a science fiction novel with emphasis on the fiction.
